i don’t even know how i came across these but now we NEED one!

we never broke down and bought a shoppingcart/highchair cover because, well, i just feel like i’m too lazy to pack those enormous things and i’d always forget it and it’s just easier to keep wet wipes and purell on hand and wipe down my baby and whatever i’m putting him in (let’s be honest, whenever i remember. whatever, building immunities)

but this is something i can get behind! we spend 7 minutes picking crap up off the floor before we can leave any restaurant and this would make it so much easier! he’ll still toss stuff but he doesn’t have great distance right now so it can’t go much further than this reaches.

the only reason i haven’t hit purchase yet is the price… $30 seems awfully steep for a gigantic bib. now i’m off to find alternatives…

um, all i can say is LOVE!

we came across this book in the store and Roger was cracking up! i’m officially obsessed and now must have all of the VanFleet books. i have no clue what the official terminology is but these are those kinds of books with pull tabs that make things on the page move, and on top of that coolness they also have tons of textures on the pages for kids to touch.

i don’t remember where i saw this idea or who mentioned it before but putting a hook on the back of your highchair for bibs is BRILLIANT! since i’m a commitment phobe i used one of those 3M ones that pulls off cleanly whenever you’re ready to go without bibs.

i don’t know how i’ve neglected to mention these for so long - we LOVE these Ambi bubbly fish!

we received them as a gift for Christmas and i was all “meh, another tub toy. yay. blah” and then we dropped them in the tub and HOORAY! They’re FUN!!

i especially like to pull them under right up against his belly so the bubbles tickle him and he laughs and laughs. if you’re looking for yet another tub toy i highly recommend these!
