so here’s the thing

since we’re doing the whole pronounciation arrogance thing (the es as ex drives me nuts) I just need to put this term misuse out there before I explode —

it’s not hibachi

it’s teppanyaki.  

a hibachi is a little grill, not even the kind used at most Japanese food restaurants. teppanyaki is the style of cooking/food that you’re eating when you’re around a large flat grill and the chef is making onion volcanos and catching eggs in his hat.
it’s what you mean but it’s not what you’re saying.
