it's always like this

5 notes &

i don’t get it.
don’t get me wrong - i want this top.  what i don’t get is why you would name a workout top “batwing”?   i mean that’s one of the only 2 reasons i go to the gym, to get rid of those things!
but beyond a terrible name choice WHY ON EARTH is this top $79?! does it make it so that i don’t have batwings? because if that’s the case i can justify the price and just drop my gym membership. but if it doesn’t, i don’t get why you would pay so much for a top to purposely sweat in?
am i missing something? the only two places i could think of to look for new workout clothes (that’s part of the fun of taking up any activity right, the accompanying wardrobe?) were Lululemon and Athleta. but the prices on both sites are ABSURD! i thought at least Athleta being a GAP brand would be for the average person, and why can’t i use my coupons?  and WHEN did $70+ for a top and $80+ for pants become the norm??
you guys are all in much better shape than i, please let me in on the secret of where i can find cute workout attire for less than exorbitant prices (or maybe the secret of WHY these are so expensive and worth it)

  2. callmerobin said: echo the tj/marshalls sentiment..good stuff. gap also has their own “gap fit” line which doesn’t seem as absurdly priced.
  3. stickyheels said: target champion brand is the business.
  4. sweetvirginiabreeze said: marshalls/tj maxx! i get ALL my stuff there and have never paid more than $20 for a single item. the marshalls on cox rd. is pretty good.
