our friends have a toddler who’s coming home from emergency surgery soon and we’re going to send them something but i can’t decide what. here’s where ya’ll come in - what should we send? flowers are not appropriate given the circumstances so i was thinking edible arrangements with balloons (thinking fruit is always a good thing, right? and the balloons for the kid to enjoy) but then i’m wondering if i think that’s a good idea because i really want edible arrangements for me. i’d love to send them a few meals from a service like they have around here, where they’ll send entire prepared meals that just need to get popped into the oven. but is there anything like that in Raleigh?? or does anyone have any good ideas i can use to send them something that will help the family while they’re tending to the kid but also that the kid might enjoy?
