we’re not really that productive on a daily basis so when i looked at The List the other day and saw how many things we’d recently crossed off i was very happy…

• new high chair purchased, assembled, and in use (what do you do with Bumbos when they’re not eating in them??)
• living room baby proofed (table bumpered on all edges/legs/corners, fall risk speakers packed away, outlets covered and boxed, etc.)
• stair gates (top and bottom) arrived yesterday and will be installed by tomorrow if i have anything to do with it
• Invisalign transferred to new dentist’s office
• more dirt cheap incredible baby tights procured for the winter
• baby closet cleaned and organized, including 12month+ clothes dragged out and sitting in wait (we’re still wearing 3-6 month with extenders in most things)
• full stash of pocket diapers (20) in rotation and working perfectly, just need to dry a few in the sun after next wash for some minor stain removal (damn meat poops)
• baby’s first christmas ornament is here and ready for hanging (only a couple more weeks until it’s tree trimming time!)

and so many other little things around here that you care to hear about even less than those above.

now if only the holidays weren’t knocking on the door we could continue to be productive
