This is awful. This is the logo for the new AHL team in Hartford. The name is bad enough… I know they are reserving “The Hartford Whalers” for when they bring back an NHL team, but the “Connecticut Whale” is terrible.
To me it says “GRRR! I am a whale! I will get you with my wonky water spout and hockey stick! RAWRRR!”
My new Twitter friend Brian took a stab at a redesign, because, well, that logo sucks. I think it’s a good start! It’s a little “Q” or “O”-ish to me, but it’s better then the monstrosity above.
I want to say slow down to the Whale team. Stop rushing! They are already cheapening the whole transition.
if they do anything to fuck with Brass Bonanza i’m gona get stabby. it’s pathetic that they couldn’t at least revive the tail logo.
