let’s see, i want to give details on how it all happened but i’m pretty sure you all know the basics
what i will say is that once we started “trying” it happened MUCH quicker than we were expecting. for the average couple it takes 3-7 months to conceive, that’s what i was prepared for so when i finally caved and took the test only to see a POSITIVE i was freaking. out.
i’d thought for sure i hadn’t even ovulated that month, i’ve been known to do so before. what i thought was a period 2 weeks after my period turned out to be implantation bleeding, who knew.
i have an entire account of everything that i went through that day and i’m on the fence about posting it… mostly because it’s so damn long and i feel bad hijacking people’s dash. we’ll see. i might do it for historical puposes : )
what it all comes down to is that the smell of bacon made me ill so i knew something had to be up, because bacon is my life. i decided to take a test the following morning and the rest is history.
