i can see why you might be surprised that my blood pressure is so high right now but really i’m not.

i had a 3pm appointment, you called me and asked if i could come in earlier and i said i’d try.

“well as soon as you can get here we’ll get you back there and on your way.”

i left as soon as the babysitter got here. i arrived at 2:38.

“someone will be out to get you shortly.”

i started skimming Richmond magazine then looked at my watch, 2:55. i then went back and started reading articles, 3:05.  by 3:10 i was starting to huff not so silently.

so since you so kindly brought me back here into the Dentist’s office later than my original appointment which you requested i come in early for and are now taking my bloodpressure it’s absolutely NO surprise to me that it’s reading that high.
