in all my baby-prep i read an article that answered the question “when is it necessary to buy Maternity Clothes?”
of course my personal answer is Never. or maybe when you can’t find anything non-maternity that fits. of course i understand pants are a tough sell for this theory but you can get away with flowy tops and empire dresses for quite a while.
anyway, one part of the article’s answer said that if you have to unbutton your pants when you sit down then it’s time to buy maternity clothes.
so apparently i should have started wearing maternity 2 years ago.
