i’m not sure what happens when you’re solely nursing but if you’re pumping i’m pretty sure your nips will end up resembling this, maybe that’s why they made this pacifier in this shape/texture?

the dog hath peed somewhere
i know because when i returned home from errands his socks are wet and smell like pee which means he did it and then stepped in it

the other day i pulled a booger out of my baby’s nose without thinking twice
the other morning put my sleeping child in his cradle only to then notice that i had been completely oblivious to the fact that i was covered in spit-up from my shoulder down to my belly button

consider yourself warned
so in case you didn’t know - your uterus (cervix?) has all this extra blood and after you have your baby it basically drains for days/weeks
and i’ve learned the hard way that wearing pads or liners for almost 3 weeks straight will give you some sort of crazy rash that resembles your newborn’s diaper rash but in a much more sensitive area

we’re up to 6lbs 14oz
i love chunkin’ up this baby!
we also just got the go ahead for no longer having to wrap his little pee-er in vaseline & gauze.
i know you don’t care about this but this just gave me at least 2 minutes back for every diaper change - that’s almost 2 1/2 hours a week i can sleep/eat/pee. this is awesome!

the good and the bad
the good (pardon me while i bloviate) i got through 38 weeks of pregnancy with zero stretch marks. i’m telling you guys, i couldn’t dream up a more enjoyable pregnancy.
more good (again with the bragging) i also got through those 38 weeks without a single hemorrhoid
the bad not so lucky with the post-partum. one little guy has made life way itchy and stingy.
